Anyway to get domain names for free?

I am part of the Latino Club at my school and would like to reserve mhslatinoclub.org for us to use as part of our organization. Anyway to get it for free? I dont want to pay $10 or more a year because I am graduating in spring and that would be pointless to keep paying for something that I wont be a part of after school ends.

I dont want that free website hosting account stuff like tripod or free webs where your site address is freewebs.com/yoursite

I just want mhslatinoclub.org

Not only is it $10 to buy the domain.. That is if someone doesn%26#039;t read this and buy the domain. You have to pay monthly for web hosting as well.

Other Replys:There is no way to get a free domain. However, I have 2 solutions for you, since this is a school club.

1. If this is a school club, there should be a faculty advisor. Any reaon why he/she can%26#039;t pay for it?

2. How about a fundraiser?

And by the way, you are looking at more than $10 dollars a year, if you don%26#039;t have a way to host it already. Getting the domain is the easy part, finding a reliable domain host is much more difficult. I pay $30 dollars a year for my domain, but it%26#039;s honestly not that much to raise.
