My upload speed is very slow, downloading a file and uploading it onto my website would take too much time and bandwidth. Is there any way I can download a file from one website onto my own website? My web host doesn%26#039;t allow me SSH/telnet access so I can%26#039;t use wget. Any other ideas?

My best guess would be have you tried zipping the file todownload it then unzipping on the hosting side.
I do that with tons of pictures I do for the sites I work on.
Works like a charm, but then I have broadband.
