What was the violation?

What was the violation? No reason given.

Details of Violation: If you are using Apache to host your site just go to the logs section. If it%26#039;s shared hosting log into your site with ftp then cd ../logs and download the files there. If you are on a dedicated host it depends on where your apache conf file tells apache to put the logs. This is different on Linux, windoze, BSD, etc. Even under Linux it%26#039;s different depending on what distro. If you have control panel or plesk you can just log in and view your logs. I have a shell script I used to use that downloaded my logs dailly and put them into a DB sorted by which server and what kidn of page hit it was. There are also free log analyzers if you are using Apache as your web server and Linux as your home OS. If you are running a dedicated Linux host you can install these and view the results from windoze machines as web pages. Reading others post. Alexa is not going to be remotely accura

What was the violation?

The thing about Yahoo! Answers is that it was designed mostly by morons, and anything is a violation if you try hard enough.

It%26#039;s sad, because even if you contact Yahoo! Answers to let them know the were mistaken and you didn%26#039;t do anything wrong, they%26#039;ll just reply (IF they reply), %26quot;We will look into the issue and if we consider you did act in violation of the community guidelines we will suspend your account%26quot;

Few people think about it, but workers at Yahoo! are humans like the rest of us. They work at Yahoo! because that%26#039;s what they%26#039;ve got and they need the money, but they don%26#039;t care if we get are unjustly accused of violating the guidelines or anything. Someone could report you for no reason whatsoever and Yahoo! wouldn%26#039;t do a thing about it.

What was the violation?

One thing%26#039;s for sure: This reporting thing is becoming like the Witch craze. Anyone can report you for the most absurd reason and there%26#039;s just no way you can prove your innocence.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR PICKING ME!!! HAVE AN AWESOME LIFE!!!!!!!! Report It

Other Replys:that sucks. i think Yahoo should add an ignore feature so those easily offended can block who or whatever they want. Report It

Other Replys:Sounds like you have a legitimate complaint! I don%26#039;t blame you for being upset.

Other Replys:contact yahoo answers on the link below if you want to know why your account received a violation notice.
