a friend has found it using http:// bournemouthcameraclub.com but i do not seem to be able to find even this

I can find it with no problem. It might be worth centring the images on the page though, but otherwise it looks good - well done. Gallery is spelt with a %26#039;y%26#039; at the end, however, not %26#039;ie%26#039; :)
The only suggestion I can make is that your system is using a cached version from before the site was up. Go to the site, and then press CTRL %26amp; F5 together, and that should re-download the index page from the server.
