Host FTP files online?

I%26#039;m new to FTP (currently using SmartFTP). I notice when you upload a file if you right click on it there%26#039;s the option %26quot;Copy URL%26quot;.

Are there any sites that will freely host my files that have been uploaded via my FTP client so people can download them from a standard web browser (http://) ???

It depends. How large are the files? On a smaller hosting account, you might exceed your file storage space. If a LOT of people will be downloading, you might exceed your bandwidth too.

That said, most web hosts will give you FTP access to your WEB files. That%26#039;s not the same as giving PUBLIC FTP access. I did find one free web host that allows you to configure multiple FTP accounts, both public and private. You might want to check them out...
