E-commerce: What are some good and reliable shopping carts that can be integrated into my web-store?

I am building a store on a hosted server. I am building all of the informational things myself, but I%26#039;m not really experienced enough to be able to design a reliable shopping cart system.

What are some good and reliable shopping carts that I can integrate into my site? What are your personal preferences?

BTW, I tried doing it through Yahoo, and hated Yahoo, so I%26#039;m doing it (other than the shopping cart) from the ground up this time.
