No matter what I do, I%26#039;m still not getting it right. I must be missing something.

I have a domain name though godaddy.com

DNS through zoneedit.com

I%26#039;ve installed IIS on my computer.

In IIS I have set up the default web site

Under properties, I have my external IP address entered, port 80, and www.mysite.com in Host Header name. (I don%26#039;t know whether to use 127.0.0.1, or 198.168.1.1, or my external address for sure)

I have a router - Have port forwarded port 80 and 443 to 192.168.0.101, which is the computer with IIS.

I have IIS services started.

I can%26#039;t even get it to open through http://localhost. (Error404 / There is no website setup at this location.)

The directory is correct - when I click open on it, it opens the folder with index.html.

There are no errors in the event viewer.

I am using XP Media Center

Please let me know if you can explain this or let me know of a site with specific instructions from start to finish on how to do this correctly, Thanks!

Do you think its best to go with a third party host for this with a dedicated SMTP server or try and run batches from the regular host SMTP server? The have tried the later and have been getting about 40% bounced back email. I think its the server timing out.

Other Replys:I dont fully understand your question. If you are wondering what svchost is, its a Windows Service that handles Automatic updates, Sound card, Wireless Internet, and other esstenial Windows Services. Do not stop or end this process.

In other cases, svchost can be mimicked and be a virus (probably not in this case). Make sure you have a virus scan, as some people try to make their file svchost.exe so that it looks like a windows service.

-Click on the Properties option.

-Click on the Compatibility tab.

-Click on the Run this program in compatibility mode for box

I did this once in the past for an old piece of software that I was trying to run on XP and it worked like a charm. Try doing that and see if it does not work for you.

I need to make a mailing list, and we will be sending out the school newsletters via email to the people who sign up.

Instead of paying for online design services which create very sloppy code you would be better off getting your own wysiwyg html editors and using ftp to upload the files to your domain.

How does this item (Flash Drive) work?

I purchased a 1gb. flash drive which had no instructions on the package. This is my first time using this type of item. I plugged it into the computer I wanted to download my email from, to put it on my laptop. I thought it would be self explanitory what to do. After plugging it in to the host computer, the computer just acknowledged that there was new hardware connected. After that, there was no info on what to do. 2) The forms that come after clicking on %26quot;Contact US%26quot; and %26quot;Feed back%26quot; should not allow empty fields to be accepted... its allowing blank information to be sent right now.

3) After clicking %26quot;Testimonials%26quot; the loaded page has no gap/space between the text and the picture.

4) The header can be made a narrow... its too large... kills the page... if its narrow then complete information can be viewed without scrolling down.
